Design is my superpower! And like any responsible human with powers, I consider it my obligation to help as many people (businesses, users)in need as possible. I’ve had experience fighting bad guys (user problems), through the eyes of a designer for 10 years. I’ve worked with startups and large agencies, building mobile and web based applications. I believe that design can change the world, most certainly can impact the bottom line, and at the very least, can have a significant impact on someone’s life.
I want to join a team devoted to creating experiences that empower their users' lives. A company that acknowledges and leverages design thinking to improve and produce products meaningful to it’s business and it’s users.
Design is a creative process for finding an appropriate solution to a tangible problem. You have to fully understand your problem in order to create something that will produce an effective solution. It’s a continual learning process where natural beauty emerge from the knowledge derived from the subject/context of the “problem.”
Understand your goal, why is this product or feature important? What problem are we trying to solve, what impact does it have on our customers and what opportunities does it create for the business.
Who are the different people that can benefit the most from the solution? What characteristics make them unique, and how can we meet those needs?
From low to high fidelity, create tangible solutions that meet our customer needs. The fastest way to improve design is to share it with others.
Design is always evolving, its important to test and validate design decisions. Are we solving the right problem, is our solution effective, how can we improve.
